I Am against this proposal…

I Am against this proposal. Especially the definitions and protections for habitats. It is not based in science or any real policy, these arbitrary and meant to deteriorate habitats and linkages between them, with direct impairment to species at risk, and species in general. This will also push species into clashes with humans as development encroaches and now unprotected area.

I'm also against delisting provincial species at risk to defer to federal policies. This deregulation would not reduce duplication but reduce local knowledge and eyes on the situation. It is short-sighted. The program already allows a payment for development option, delisting but also reduce income to these programs.
