I want to express my concerns about the Species Conservation Act.

1. Immediately halt the delisting of over 100 species at risk. I think this is a short sighted decision that will result in increasing the lost of wildlife, causing more species to become endangered, or worse extinct. This will also decrease necessary funding that not only protects the species you will delist but many, many others.

2. Ensure independent, peer-reviewed scientific assessments guide any future listing changes that can also help provide recovery strategies.

3. RESTORE THE ENDANGERED SPECIES ACT.

4. Restore enforcement and recovery funding so listed species AND their habitats can recover effectively.

5. Finally, most importantly, ensure you are honouring treaty rights.
