This plan is not going to save anyone any money at all by combining Conservation Authorities from Northwestern Ontario with those along Lake Huron. It’s far too geographically distant, so either they will accrue huge travel annd andministrative costs by trying to cover such a large area, or it just won’t get covered at all. What’s the benefit? There isn’t any. The Lakehead Region Conservation Authority does an outstanding job in Northwest Ontario by knowing the region and being a key functional part of environmental governance and education; please leave them alone.
