I think consolidating 36 conservation authorities into only 7 regions. The proposed Huron-Superior and Northeastern regions are far too large and will lose vital local knowledge, low availability for necessities, and weaken flood protection when climate risks are rising.
Seven regions is too few. Ten to twelve would still save costs without sacrificing local expertise and community trust.
Please help us by adding our board seats, make a equal view, protect us
