I feel that removing or restricting bike lanes in our ever growing and congested city is a very foolish choice to make. These lanes make it safer for those who choose this relatively inexpensive, healthy and liberating form of transportation a safer option. Other countries are way ahead of us here in creating bike lanes, especially in cities.
Please stop this unhealthy obsession with cars. Not everyone can afford to own a vehicle and in a crowded city a bicycle is often a faster method of transportation.
Also better for the quality of the air we all breathe.
