Bike lanes are crucial city infrastructure and keep us all safe: bike riders, pedestrians and drivers alike. The province should not be able to override local decisions and local priorities - to do so would be a huge overreach of power. The city is perfectly capable of determining when and where bike lanes should be placed to keep citizens safe and keep all traffic moving. With so many other crises to deal with, why is the Premier spending so much time and money to override municipal government matters?
