Passing this law will have an opposite and adverse effects on not just those who ride bikes/scooters, but the majority of people who commute by car, since blocking bike projects will not reduce traffic congestion in more dense centres like Toronto, but also make health of people worse. Without safe infrastructure and consideration for multi-modal transportation methods being built equally across the province and especially biking, kids will not be able to go to school safely, people who rely on jobs of any sort cannot make it to their destination safely, and neither the drivers stuck in traffic and especially in Toronto. Reject this bill entirely and go back to the drawing board.
