This is nonsensical legislation. There are very sensible times when lane reductions make sense for the addition of bike lanes. This is especially true because more people fit on the road with the bike lanes installed.
I absolutely support the creation of safe infrastructure for cycling (aka bike lanes), measures for reducing the number of cars on our roads which will lead to better traffic conditions, better air quality, and a more pleasant experience.
Doing more of the same, that is, prioritizing the car, won't fix our problems.
