Hi there,
Since I leave in Toronto, 12 years now, I was always a biker. But the first years I was living here, I always felt very threatened by cars while biking, especially when I would go up Yonge Street at night, to go back home. I remember one night, one car was so aggressive with its driving, that just because it was driving so fast, and not really controlling anything, almost kicked me, because it was passing by me so close. I'm glad I didn't flinch, otherwise, I think I would not be writing those lines to you today. There are many many other dangerous occurrences I could share about riding Yonge Street up and down, that all faded when the bike lines were finally implemented. And I'm so glad they are here now to protect me every time I'm riding my bike. Bike lanes are life saver EVERY DAY! We absolutely NEED THEM EVERYWHERE. Thank you
