Hello, I'm a commuting cyclist and I love cycling in Toronto when streets have protected bike lanes. I want to take my 65+ year old parents cycling around Toronto or hopping on and off the TTC. We can stop by many of restaurants and cafe in Toronto. I want to bike to work. I can drive but I don't drive in Toronto. So I love cycling to get around Toronto. I sometimes combine my mode of transportation (walking, biking, bussing, subwaying). I like the freedom to choose. I choose to not drive in Toronto because the usefulness of other ways of getting around.
Bill 60 doesn't support my freedom of choice. By making it more difficult for other methods of transportation to be safer, Bill 60 is taking away my freedom of choice and an overreach by the Conservative Ontario government by encroaching into the city's power and decisions making without consulting them.
Bill 60's langauge is too broad. Part XII.1, Section 195.3 needs to be removed.
