The current government has regularly introduced new legislation to improve efficiencies, reduce red tape and decrease financial burdens. Creating a new agency to deal with wastewater in Caledon, Brampton and Mississauga seems unnecessary, inefficient and costly to taxpayers given that Peel Region is already handling wastewater services. Reconsider this approach and continue to maintain Peel as the agency responsible for wastewater in Caledon, Brampton and Mississauga.
