I am opposed to handing over Peel's water services to a public corporation, which is not accountable to its citizens in the same way our democratically elected municipal government is. This bill opens the door to further privatization, which is detrimental to everyday people (as seen with what happened with Hydro One). The Region of Peel is currently handling our water services efficiently, and I am against this change.
