I am OPPOSED to the Province…

I am OPPOSED to the Province’s proposed amalgamation of the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority (LRCA) with other Southern Ontario Conservation Authorities to form the “Huron-Superior Regional Conservation Authority.” I support LRCA’s recommendation that they stand alone as a conservation authority as the “Northwestern Ontario Regional Conservation Authority.”

Amalgamation of the Authorities into a single Authority would not allow for the Lakehead Region to tailor its approaches to the areas unique and individual needs.
