The Lakehead Region Conservation Authority has a completely different watershed than all others in Ontario and it is a terrible idea to merge it with another authority/watershed. There are no issues with permit delays with the LRCA and it has functioned extremely well to protect the area of Lake Superior and NWO. Merging it with another far off office would only add to any delays in processing and negatively impact the unique role that the LRCA serves. This is a solution looking for a problem that does not exist with the LRCA and the Lakehead region and Thunder Bay must be left alone by Queens Park.
