The plan for high rise towers in the midtown goes against the basic principle of moving to a suburb. The high density and resulting congestion and constraints would destroy the suburban experience and create an environment not conducive to raising a family outside of a major metropolitan area.
Oakville is a town and the planned expansion should be based on the principle of maintaining the low density suburban environment which is the only reason why families and individuals move so far west of the city.
