When you create a commuter community you don't get people that care about the town necessarily, you just get people that want an easy commute and as a result they don't treat their housing or the locals with respect. You get people that allow their pets to poop in the hallways of condo buildings, because these commuter communities feel temporary and people don't bother to make connections with their neighbours, etc, and they don't invest in and get involved in the existing community. I think these towers are a bad idea. It's going to cheapen the neighborhood and turn into the Square One area in Mississauga which is trash.
