I am not sure I can fully express my outrage and opposition to the whole idea of an "open-for-business" bylaw. Words fail me! To provide a shortcut or bypass around so much well-crafted and considered legislation simply to enable municipal councils and businesses to allow unchecked growth is difficult for me to fathom. Bill 66's "open-for-business" bylaw will enable businesses to continue to do what they have always done - externalize the environmental and societal costs while maximizing their own profits.
