The regional consolidation of Ontario’s conservation authorities is a bad idea. Local watershed directives are unique to each landscape and municipal strategies. The reason for this is arguably through the lens of developers advantage. Trust none of this to be of benefit to watershed resilience when needed now more than ever. The outcome here will be billions in uninsurable losses.
