I think combining the Conservation Authorities is a good idea. There are too many boards and people that have power complexes on them. I really don't want to see the employees loose their jobs though. In the Essex County area our regional conservation authority is too power hungry and stop development a lot. They act like they are allmighty. I think having one larger board for oversight will make things easier for the people, but again, I don't want to see any front line staff people loose their jobs.
