I and almost everyone I have spoken with have serious concerns that this proposal to centralize management and administration of the conservation areas will result in less local representation. The current structure provides a good level of local representation. As a long time resident of the Upper Thames and Kettle Creek conservation areas, I have personally witnessed the management of environmental conservation in these areas and feel these are well managed. A change to centralize, will result in less local focus and as a result, a less well managed organization. I am not in support of this proposal.
