Consolidating all conservation authorities is a bad idea. It removes local input. Each CA knows its area and each watershed is different. The CAs are doing a good job. They do not need to align with “provincial policy” which is destroying wetlands, forests and farmland for more garbage dumps, gravel pits and highways.
