I strongly oppose the proposal to amalgamate conservation areas across the province. The Sault Ste. Marie conservation Authority is integral to preserving our natural habitat and the trails, especially those up in the Hiawatha area. There is no way in amalgamated authority will be able to address local needs. If the Ford Government truly cares about the people of Ontario, they will cancel this initiative and leave the expertise with the people that know the land firsthand
