Bill 66 is an omnibus disaster waiting to be unleashed on the people of Ontario’s! In particular Bill 66 opens the door to unwise, environmentally harmful development, especially of greenbelt lands and those in sensitive areas. Safeguards to clean water will "go down the drain" and we might well experience another Walkerton tragedy. Allowing municipalities and developers to bypass environnemental regulations is not in the public interest. It's particularly dangerous that this bill will not allow appeal of development decisions!
