I am opposed to this portion…

I am opposed to this portion of ero 013-4239. I.e. “Proposed-open-for-business planning tool”. Ontario is not prepared for more growth, more business or population growth.

We do not have enough electricity or adequate distribution. The south is full. Toronto does not handle it own waste. Some is shipped to the USA, or has been in the past. So why demand more growth which will produce even more waste. Nonsense at the apex!

If Ontario ever develops the “ring of fire” electric power will be needed there. Also build infrastructure up there. Roads, hospitals, schools, housing etc.should be planned now for the future.

Your bill seems to be adding more problems on to our troubled cities. Like throwing more fuel on a fire that you want to suppress.

Our roads are congested so badly that I plan to travel at night to get through our major city in a sensible amount of time. We do not need more roads built to service more business in our region. Keep out of the green belt!

We are so in debt that I have considered moving to another province. That is leave Ontario.

I heard I politician say they/he/his party would not touch the green belt. Now it is all open for business. This is so rotten and dirty that the green belt will soon be a black belt.

Keep your development tool in your pants and off of my green belt as I have no plans on dancing or anything else with this party.

And by the way. Over Christmas I tried to buy beer for a dollar! Impossible.
It was not available in my LCBO. Later when it was, it was not even in the beer cooler section AND I would have had to buy a minimum of four bottles at a time. That would be four dollars. And that is exactly a perfect example of what I expect this government to do with this new open for business concept. It will be something really different from what they say it will be or mean.

Stop bill-66 now and stop this open-for-business policy.
