I am writing to express my grave concern for myself and my family over the proposed bill 66 and it’s implications for our health and happiness living in the province. I have an 18 month old daughter and as a new parent, I am particularly concerned about removing protections that are designed to keep our drinking water safe, protect important natural areas and ensure Ontarians will have safe healthy futures in this province. I was massively relieved when Doug Ford said during the election that he would not be opening up the Greenbelt, it gave me hope that I would find common ground with this new government, and I am so disappointed to find out that was a lie. Do not pass this bill.
