I am not interested in weakening any protections of species or habitats in Ontario's Endangered Species Act. Discretion to set aside, apply, remove or temporarily delay protections must not be given to any bureaucrat or elected member of government.
As we continue to develop wild lands, and re-develop urban and rural areas, it is more important than ever that we ensure the continued viability of all species in Ontario. Biodiversity protects us all, in ways that we can and can't see.
