With regards to amendment 2.2.8.4 - “municipalities may adjust settlement area boundaries outside of a municipal comprehensive review, provided: d) the affected areas are not rural settlement areas or in the Greenbelt area”, we feel Greenbelt areas should be included if they no longer meet the criteria for being zoned “Greenbelt”. Currently there are several pieces of land in Ontario that are incorrectly zoned Greenbelt and no longer meet any of the criteria and are more suited for Residential or Industrial/Commercial zoning.
