I am a lawyer and business…

I am a lawyer and business person and fully appreciate the challenges of doing business in Ontario. But protecting the environment, including species at risk should simply be a priority. It is not necessary to erode environmental protections in the name of business - innovative, efficient business (and I am not talking "green" business) does not need to destroy ecosystems or contribute to climate change to be profitable. I was disturbed by many of the Liberal policies and tactics, but I am far more concerned with the direction this Conservative government is taking. Failure to understand, respect and support science will undermine any government that claims to be acting in the best interests of the people.
