The government as a whole focusing on jobs and the economy is fine. That's what a conservative government has a mandate to do. However when it comes to environmental factors and species at risk there should be no compromise to their protection in the interest of making things easier for businesses to disrupt their habitats or overall survival. It's irresponsible and considering the government previously backed down on plans to open up protected land using the end of term 10 year review as a formal excuse to essentially try again with the same or different locations packs integrity expected of the government.
