Changing any legislation that protects endangered species so that it is friendlier to economic development is completely contradictory. Habitat loss is the primary factor in making species endangered. We should be mitigating, halting, reversing, and challenging all development that erodes habitats for endangered species. Do not change these laws to make it easier to develop in wilderness areas.
