It is crucial that we protect Ontario's endangered species because each one is vital to the delicate balance of our ecosystem, and to our wellbeing as humans. Most of these are endangered due to human activity, and so it is our responsibility to protect them. We are causing a mass extinction, and Canadian wildlife is not worth sacrificing in pursuit of "efficiencies for businesses." We must put environmental concerns above all, as without a healthy ecosystem and planet there is no future for us, let alone the economy.
