Please put public safety first. While other developed countries are phasing out nuclear power due to it's inherent dangers and unsustainability, Ontario is turning a blind eye to the sky rocketing costs and putting millions of people at risk. Please use the billions budgeted for the nuclear plants to invest in renewable energy and conservation instead. It'll be a much better investment. We're making too much electricity already and selling the excess at a loss to the US. Please expand the amount we buy from Quebec instead. Nuclear may provide power without emitting greenhouse gases but the waste is worst. Just in a different form. it's not in the best interest of the people.
