I live within 75 kilometres of Pickering. That means that if there is a Fukushima type event I lose my home and maybe my life. I watch d this thing get built. I understand that is past it's expected lifespan. So why do we want to keep it running when it is so close to a major city? I don't know about you but I really don't want to have radioactive boars running around the deserted City Hall just so we can keep an electricity generator nearing my age. Finally even the recently sold Hydro One doesn't want any part of it. How about we don't either.
