I totally disagree with the increase in Ethanol content.
The increase will trigger an increase in fuel costs as ethanol is a higher cost base product than petroleum based gasoline.
Ethanol has a high adsorption /affinity to water and triggers corrosion issues with ethanol powered engine carburetors or fuel holding & delivery systems, not only in vehicular motors, but especially on small motor systems powering lawn mowers, chain saws, blowers, etc. Also ethanol will impact the moisture content of stored fuel in gas tanks and create disposal issues when stored fuel must be disposed of due to undesirable moisture content.
There is a large volume of "classic vehicle " owners that will also be impacted by such a potential change which will trigger additional hidden costs to try and find premium fuel with lower ethanol content if indeed it is available.
