How many times have we heard that it can't happen here, and lo and behold it did.
All my family and myself are living within a short distance of the Pickering Nuclear Power Station. My most fervent wish would be to decommission Nuclear Power Generation Plants all together in favour of renewable energy, especially as a safe way of disposing of Nuclear waste has not yet been found. At the same time, if we have to have nuclear power, at least let us be as safe as we can be. It seems that what we have now is entirely inadequate.
