Species at risk must be protected as well as their habitat. It is appalling that this Ontario government sees regulations that protect wildlife and their habitat as obstacles to business. Developers must not be able to pay to continue to operate on species and risk habitat, and species locally at risk must be protected no matter their populations elsewhere.
