Clearly the proposed changes to Ontario's Endangered Species Act are designed to allow business and recreational use of habitat to override the protection for all species at risk. I strongly object to them.
The government should not be so short-sighted. It should give weight to the specialists with a broader knowledge and perspective, if anything at all is to be saved for future generations.
