This deal does nothing to enhance the protection of endangered species. Instead, it provides opportunities for the government to ignore environmental concerns in favour of unacceptable land development. We are currently facing a major reduction in biomass, specifically within insect populations. While these species are often regraded as a nuisance they are an important part of the food web and provide valuable pollinating services for Ontario's farmers.
Please, reconsider your revisions.
