It is entirely unacceptable to exempt logging companies from existing requirements to protect the caribou. The gravitational pull of our Canadian resources history, which has compromised species and endangered the existence of some, is no excuse not to chart a direct path to protection and preservation of wildlife whose routes and livelilood are important enough to have warranted requirements in the first place. Please adhere to requirements that protect the caribou.
