I am concerned that the MOECC is in the process of granting Renewable Energy Approval for this power project when there are thousands of unresolved complaints about noise, vibration, and other effects from wind turbines. I have complained about excessive noise, emissions and adverse health impacts since the commencement of the project in my backyard. I remain a victim of ill placed IWT's. Our family unit has collapsed with a minor not being able to stay in his very own home often. As I write this the turbines are roaring through my family home, a place that should be my safe haven, a place to provide and nurture our family unit. Instead we are crumbling and forced from our home temporarily on many occasions. To regain health we will have to leave our home permanently. Does this eeems like the MOECC has fulfilled its mandate? Does this seem like the government and its many levels have acted responsibility and protected its citizens? When there are obvious problem such as thousands of reports left unresolved, projects out of compliance, people dragged through prolonged noise compliance testing, why would any legitimate government be willing to move ahead with more projects until these issues are resolved. Science and knowledge are always changing. There are plenty of studies done to show ill effects and it's time Ontario takes a new approach to the protection of rural routes instead of the plough them over mentalilty. There is a certainty of negligence when the evidence is readily available and is purposely ignored for an agenda. There also isn't a need for this hydro. We are already at an unaffordable state with our energy and we dump a lot of waste. Being green also means not being wasteful and greedy.
