Plain and simple we are extremely concerned about continuing to contract for power that is not needed in this province--concern for a greener economy is important, but contracting for more power at this point with the impacts of all the closing businesses in Ontario not even fully understood, I think it is in the public interest to pause, cancel expensive contracts, or at least post-pone purchasing more power until a time where we are not paying jurisdictions to take it. That is the responsible thing to do for energy procurement and for the sake of all Ontarians. You think this consideration is outside the scope of this posting, but always responsible planning involves looking at all options and all effects to the people of Ontario
