Yes, I agree that the distance from a public road or posted recreational trail is way too far at 200 meters, especially in Eastern and Southern Ontario where Crown land is minimal and private land is of small parcels, thus making the 200 m minimum impossible, preventing most hunters not to even be allowed to participate in a hunt!! 30 m is much more reasonable!!!!!
For these same reasons, I also feel that the 500 meters limitations to a private dwelling or public building is also way to far, it should be 200 - 250 meters at most. 500 meters is half a kilometer show me where this is even possible in Eastern/Sourthern Ontario!!!!!!
