I object with the changes to the set back regulations. The wilderness of Ontario is used by many who prefer not to cause damage, myself included. The bears are not dangerous, I live in a rural area and have never had a bad or dangerous encounter with bears (or wildlife in general). Living near where bear hunting happens is dangerous. I enjoy my 58 acre property but have encountered hunters on my private, posted property and therefore, do not feel safe enjoying my own property. Enjoying crown land is even more dangerous due to hunters and changing these regulations will make it more so. Ontario better not allow this change to take place.
This is another ridiculous change which in my opinion has no merit other than to accommodate bear hunters that are too lazy to walk a few metres from their ATV's to set up their slop buckets. This is just shooting not hunting.
Our natural resources demand more concern than just to exploit!
