Bait traps are not even hunting. This is just a means for those who get a thrill from killing to sit back and do so. It also endangers everyone else who may be passing by. There is a spring 'hunt' and a fall 'hunt' which means these wonderful and intelligent animals under threat most of their waking lives. It also means something else. Females are impregnated in June and the implant takes place in November and then they give birth during hibernation in January. So there is a high probability it is a pregnant bear that is killed in the fall and then in the spring when the lactating mother is killed, her defenseless cubs will also die. Show some humanity and put the brakes on this killing.
