It seems to me that there needs to be a balance between species protection and the lives/livelihood of those affected in the affected area of the province. Balancing the economic impact to all citizens of the province by restricting the opportunity to live and play in a particular area of the province is counter-intuitive. Surely a management system that balances the needs of both can be determined through study and consultation but I recognize this requires some time to do. I am in favour of the delay in implementation in order to allow for the assessment of the needs of all stakeholders - particularly those of us that live and work in the affected areas.
To those who do not depend on our natural, renewable resources need to balance their views and understand the point and needs of those directly affected.
