My sister-in-law, who is Métis, has never received a moose tag in the past 40 years, since the moose tag draw was implemented. My husband, who is also Métis, never once received a moose tag in the 18 years that he applied to the draw.
There is something definitely wrong with this system.
A suggestion would be once you do receive a moose tag, your name is removed for the following year, to allow others who have never revived a tag, the chance to obtain one.
What a horrible system.
