I like the fact that changes…

I like the fact that changes are being made to make the tag process more fair. I believe Ontario should look at how other provinces manage their moose populations. As I believe in Quebec but not 100% positive they alternate year to year between bulls & cows.
Now on the subject of seasons I think that a hunting season should always start on a Monday not on a Saturday. With the season starting on Saturday hunters now have to take time off work the week prior as well as for the week of the season in order to not miss opening day. As I am a hunter in WMU 61 this has become a problem for all of the hunters I've talked to since this change was implemented. All of the hunters/camps our group has talked to would always rather leave a hunt a day or two early than miss the opening days.
