I do not agree with having to have radio contact in order to shoot a moose in which your partner/group has the tag for. I agree that we should have to be 5km or 3 km apart, but in the terrain I hunt in (21A), there are so many hills, valleys, trees, etc, that it is very hard to be any distance apart and still have decent, or any radio connection. Something like Quebec does, where the animal has to be tagged by the end of the day would be much more fair. Also the government needs to invest money in maintaining roads enough to make them passable. I understand it isn’t feasible to grade roads regularly, but fixing washouts, allowing hunters to shoot beavers effecting roads, and maybe some other options should be explored.
