i have big concerns about what is happening. building officials all over the Provence are concerned about their jobs. You are leading municipal councils to think that the AA will provide better service than their own building departments do. some municipal councils members will run with this and then building officials will be out of a job. How are you going to provide better service then the current building departments are doing?
The MMAH in the past have not been able to provide good service to building departments let alone do the job.
This will not help make buildings safer in the Provence. Permits issuing times will be longer.
Take the MNRF and their permit issuing system, it takes mounts to get permits for work on the water. and this slows construction down.
How are you going to find people that are building without permits? The government needs to clarify what is really going on here and stop with the smoke and mirror show.
We have been asking for you to fix he exams for years. Testing people on old code requirements does not make sense. This has all been a disaster from day one when you created the system. How are we to trust now that you are going to get it right.
More thought needs to go into this to protect people using the building and jobs of the people that are inspecting them.
