Municipalities should not be allowed to arbitrarily impose restrictive and unfair “environmental protection” zones on privately owned land. Landowners should not have to pay for permits, assessments or anything else in order to make changes on private property. These unnecessary zones are being implemented without informing landowners which is wrong on every level.

These harmful actions are negatively impacting the lives of hardworking private citizens who have been taking care their properties for years with no interference from government agencies. We should not have to get permission from government to use our property. Private property rights must be protected.
